Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("user," "you") and Dosemate ("we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of the Dosemate Android application ("the App").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and discontinue use immediately.
✅ These Terms apply to all users of the Dosemate app, including free users and any future paid features.
Eligibility
To use Dosemate, you must:
Be at least 13 years of age, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
Comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws
Not be barred from using the App under any applicable law
If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App.
License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Dosemate on your personal Android device for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You agree NOT to:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
Distribute, sell, sublicense, lease, or rent the App to third parties
Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to interact with the App
Medical Disclaimer
⚠️ Dosemate is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The App is intended only as a personal medication tracker and reminder tool.
You acknowledge and agree that:
The App is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
You should always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions
We are not responsible for missed doses, incorrect entries, or notification failures
Reminder notifications depend on your device's settings, network, and battery state
Dosemate does not verify medications, dosages, or interactions
In case of medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately
You assume full responsibility for managing your medications and for the accuracy of any information you enter.
User Conduct
You agree to use Dosemate responsibly and not to:
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on the rights of others
Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Use the App in ways that could harm minors
User Content
All medication data, schedules, notes, and other information you enter into the App ("User Content") remains your property.
User Content is stored locally on your device only
We do not access, view, or transmit your User Content
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your User Content
You are responsible for backing up your data before uninstalling
Advertisements
Dosemate is free and supported by third-party advertisements served through Google AdMob. By using the App you acknowledge that:
The App displays banner, interstitial, and/or native ads
We do not endorse or warrant any product or service advertised
Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser
You may opt out of personalized ads in your device settings
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App — including but not limited to the source code, design, logos, branding, content, and user interface — are owned by Dosemate or its licensors.
The "Dosemate" name and logo are trademarks. You may not use them without prior written permission.
Disclaimers
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:
Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
Warranties that defects will be corrected or that notifications will always deliver on time
Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information
We do not guarantee that the App will meet your specific medical or scheduling needs.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dosemate and its developers will NOT be liable for any:
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
Health-related consequences from missed or incorrect medication doses
Damages caused by failure of notifications to deliver
Damages arising from your reliance on the App for medical decisions
Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months (which is zero for free users).
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms.
Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country of residence, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. When we do, we will:
Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
Notify users of material changes via in-app notification
Post the revised Terms on this page
Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
