Our policy on refunds, cancellations, and how purchases are handled when premium features become available.

Overview

This Refund Policy explains how we handle refunds, returns, and cancellations for any purchases related to the Dosemate Android application.

Dosemate is currently 100% free — no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no charges of any kind. This policy applies in advance to any future paid features.

Free App

The Dosemate app is currently free to download and use:

  • No purchase price for the APK download
  • No subscription or recurring fees
  • No in-app purchases
  • No paid premium features at this time

Since no payment is required to use Dosemate, no refunds are applicable for the App itself.

Future Premium Features

If Dosemate introduces premium features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases in the future, the following refund terms will apply:

Eligibility for Refunds

  • Refunds may be requested within 14 days of the original purchase
  • The premium feature must not have been used substantially during this period
  • Technical issues that prevent the feature from working as advertised qualify for a refund
  • Accidental or duplicate purchases are eligible for a full refund

Non-Refundable Cases

  • Change of mind after the 14-day window
  • Failure to read the feature description before purchasing
  • Issues caused by your device's incompatibility with stated requirements
  • Subscriptions already used for more than 14 days

How to Request a Refund

If you've purchased a premium feature and wish to request a refund:

Through Google Play (preferred):

  • Open the Google Play Store app
  • Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history
  • Find the Dosemate purchase and tap "Refund"
  • Follow the on-screen instructions

Direct request:

  • Email mashooriyan@gmail.com with the subject "Refund Request"
  • Include the purchase date, transaction ID, and reason for the refund
  • We aim to respond within 3–5 business days

ℹ️ Refunds for purchases made through Google Play are processed by Google according to their refund policies. We can assist but cannot directly refund Play Store transactions.

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed in the following timeframes:

  • Google Play refunds: 3–5 business days to your original payment method
  • Direct refunds: 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer
  • Subscription cancellations: Take effect at the end of the current billing period

Cancellations

If subscription-based premium features are introduced:

  • You can cancel your subscription anytime through Google Play
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
  • You retain access to premium features until the cycle ends
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused subscription time after the 14-day window

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy as our App and features evolve. When we do:

  • The "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised
  • Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification
  • Existing purchases are governed by the policy in effect at time of purchase
